Job Description:

As a Service Engineer, you’ll combine technical knowledge with technical skills. The balance depends on the level of technical knowledge and understanding you’ll need to provide on field service to the product we’re offering and to respond to clients’ service queries. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and plan for successfully meeting targets as assigned.

Your day-to-day tasks are likely to involve:

Travelling to visit clients for providing Service as required.

Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers

Managing and interpreting customer requirements

Build Strong Relationship with customer, capable of explaining complex technical issue and solving them

Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs

Negotiating contract terms

Negotiating and closing service sales by agreeing terms and conditions

Administering client accounts

Analysing sales, preparing reports for head office

Meeting regular service targets

Recording and maintaining service reports & data of clients

Coordinating sales projects

Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs

Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education & Demos

Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts

Solving client problems

Initially, you will be expected to gain experience in your field, develop product/service knowledge, and build your reputation in technical service

To advance, you must produce results – through service

You should be willing to travel regularly.

You will also be expected to continually enhance your expertise

Performing other activities as and when assigned in your region
